Air heaters of series 803 for round ducts are designed for direct heating of flowing air and non-flammable gases and mixtures. The heaters consist of a rectangular steel housing with conical transition pieces; connections are gas-tight welded. For higher operating temperatures the electric terminal enclosure will be mounted at a distance from the heating chamber, the space between can be thermally insulated.
Supporting brackets for both vertical and horizontal mounting can be attached. Typical applications are in the field of ventilation and air conditioning as well as in drying equipment and process engineering. Duct heaters of this design are used with pressure greater than 10 mbar. For pressures > 0,5 (bar) our electric circulation heaters are used.
